| The above photo is of a 4000TM Trackmobile core prior to any work being done. It weighs 29,000 lbs. and has a Detroit Diesel 4-53 120 HP engine. Notice the air tank on the deck, the two access ladders, the small brackets holding the sand tubes, and the difference in access to the engine compartment compared to the same unit after remanufacture (on the right). These photos show how an older machine can be remanufactured from the frame up to produce a first class unit that has the latest state of the art features. | This is the same machine shown on the left after it was remanufactured and converted to a model 4000TM-EH-WBIV-AR. The machine now weighs approx. 35,000 lbs. It has a 152 HP Cummins Diesel which is EPA approved for off road use, a wide deck, and AEA air ride suspension. It has all new sheetmetal, a new wider subframe, four access ladders, walk across platforms front and rear, heavy duty full width bumpers, centralized lubrication, automatic engine safety shutdown, heavy duty air cleaner that serves the engine and the air compressors, air tanks located under the deck, and other up grades. |
| Any 95TM or 4000TM Trackmobie core can be converted to the EH-WBIV-AR design by adding 6,000 lbs. of machine weight, to bring it up to 35,000 lbs., and changing the engine from 120 HP to 152 HP. Often machine owners will say that they would like to remanufacture and that they like the Wide Body IV design and the Air Ride Suspension but they think that they would like to have a little bit larger machine as well. The EH-WBIV-AR options provide a lot of bang for the buck. This increases the available tractive effort from a nominal 25,000 lbs. to 27,000 lbs. The machine shown here is also set up for service in a corrosive environment. It has a special 14 mil epoxy paint system with individually painted components, solder core radiator, totally enclosed alternator, stainless steel fittings instead of brass, all mechanical auto engine safety shutdown system, rubber coated electrical terminals, etc. |  |
